Kris Keymolen is the founder of Keymarks. She studied law at the University of Leuven (Belgium) and at the University of Poitiers (France). After graduating, she specialized in Intellectual Property at the International IP Study Centre (CEIPI) of the University of Strasbourg (France).
Kris started her practical experience in Paris in 1989. Hired by a small but very respected intellectual property company she settled in Brussels and passed the professional exam of the Benelux Association of Trademarks and Design Attorneys in 1995. In 1996, she became European Trademark and Design Attorney.
After having worked for two major Belgian players in the intellectual property field and managed a trademarks and design department, Kris decided to start up her own firm, Keymarks.
Kris is an active member of the professional associations BMM and ECTA. She is a frequent speaker on topics of Intellectual Property. She is often designated by Belgian Courts as an expert.
Kris is proficient in Dutch, French and English and has large notions of German and Italian.
